Hi!  We are Josh and Kenzie Presnell, the owners of Fixed on Fitness.  We have two crazy kids, Blaise and Paisley, and two wild pups, Lola and Maggie.  We began FOF back in January 2008 in Pensacola, FL.  At that time, we were struggling to find a fitness program that worked for us.  We wanted motivation and accountability, and we wanted really challenging workouts.  The more we explored, the more we found that a group atmosphere could be incredibly inspiring.  We have never liked the thought of one dimensional fitness, so we set out to create a program that would focus on all aspects of fitness, one that would challenge us and never get old, one that focused on form and injury prevention, and one that we could stick with for life.  Out of those desires came Fixed on Fitness.

We were so tired of quick fixes, yo-yo diets, pills, and fads.  We knew that there was a way to create a healthy balance of fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness.  We decided to challenge what we had always been told about what we should eat, how we should exercise, and what we were doomed for as we age.  We gathered as much knowledge as we could, began to implement it, and we used ourselves as an experiment.  The experiment was a success for us, and we have now put our experience to work for hundreds of our clients.

At Fixed on Fitness, we strive to help each client remove barriers.  We believe that each person deserves to be healthy.  We believe that relationships and community are vital to the success of anyone's health and fitness journey.  We believe that small changes, done consistently, make the biggest impact on your overall wellness.  

We aren't a big corporation.  At FOF, we are a small group of individuals that have a passion for helping people.  So much of what is done at Fixed on Fitness is still hashed out at our kitchen table.  We still put ourselves through each and every workout before we put it out to anyone else.  We still learn and educate ourselves so that we can help others.  We still have one focus -

With over a decade of experience, Fixed on Fitness is dedicated to working with you.  We will show you HOW to workout, teach you HOW to develop strategies to overcome your roadblocks, educate you on HOW to start nourishing your body with real, whole, nutrient dense foods, and provide motivation and accountability to help you achieve your goals.  We are not a program that simply tells you WHAT to do or provides you with a fast track weight loss or yo-yo dieting program....you can find those programs anywhere on the internet.  Instead, we focus on creating life long habits and behaviors through education, motivation, and action.  We focus on helping you make small, deliberate changes that will stay with you forever.  We firmly believe that if we can help you change your mindset, the fat loss, vitality, fitness, strength, results, ____________ will come.

As a member of Fixed on Fitness, you will receive a programmed fitness routine that is appropriate for all fitness levels.  Whether you join our FOF Boot Camp program or one of our FOF Health Coaching groups, our FOF team is here to help you achieve your goals.  When it comes to workouts, we focus on variation training, so you will see multiple components of fitness incorporated into our workouts.  Our workouts can be done at home, in the gym, at the park, in a studio, or anywhere else you feel comfortable.  

Although there is more than one way to eat healthy, our goal is to teach you to fuel your body with foods that nourish your body and make you feel good.  We will provide you with tools that will help you enjoy the process of eating and preparing foods that taste great and support your body.  Our intention is not to focus on one specific "method" of eating but rather the principles of eating healthy.

At Fixed on Fitness, you are part of a community.  We do not believe that we were created to do life alone.  We need people.  Our trainers are here to guide you, support you, and motivate you.  We also have a private online community where you can get in touch with other people, ask questions, share your experiences, and find aid for any struggles that you might be experiencing.  Our Fixed on Fitness Boot Camp program in the Pensacola area is a place where you can show up and workout with a group of people that are just like you - normal people that want to make a positive change.
