Youth barbell camp

Ready to improve your barbell skills this summer?  Join our barbell coach, Nick Presley, for a 2-week barbell camp {6 sessions} designed specifically for youth athletes.  Camps are co-ed.  The Youth Barbell Camps are limited to 10 athletes.

June Camp {incoming 7th – 12th Graders}

  • Intro Session: Sunday, 6/6/21 from 2-4:00 pm
  • Coaching Sessions: T+Th, 6/8 – 6/17 from 7-8:30 pm
  • Final Lifting Session: Sunday, 6/20/21 from 2-4:00 pm
  • Fundamental Movements: Deadlift, Front Squat, Power Clean, Push Jerk
  • Location: Fixed on Fitness Training Center
  • Cost: $175

July Camp {incoming 7th – 12th Graders}

  • Intro Session: Sunday, 7/18/21 from 2-4:00 p m
  • Coaching Sessions: T+Th, 7/20 – 7/29 from 7-8:30 pm
  • Final Lifting Session: Sunday, 8/1/21 from 2-4:00 pm

CONDITIONING + CORE

This summer we will be offering a 6-week Conditioning and Core Camp with Kayla. This program will work on improving endurance while strengthening your midline, just in time for bathing suit season! This class is available for FOF members AND non-members. So, grab a friend and join in on the fun! 

Each week, you will receive three workouts to complete.  Two of these workouts are designed to be done on your own, either at home or in the FOF open gym.  We will meet as a group for the third workout of the week.  The group workouts will be held on Sunday afternoons at 2pm at the FOF Training Center. These workouts are designed to be a great addition to your time in the gym and will not interfere with any classes you currently attend during the week.  

Although conditioning and core work is programmed regularly at Fixed on Fitness, adding the additional workouts that we have created for the conditioning and core camp will greatly increase your aerobic capacity and stamina. This will translate directly into your gym workouts, so you can expect to see improvement in your workouts.  We will also talk through techniques and best practices for the cardio equipment. This will ensure you are getting the most efficient use out of each piece of equipment during regular workouts.

We realize that summer can be a busy season. If you are unable to make one of the Sunday workouts, Kayla will try to work with you at a different time to talk through any workout/technique that you will miss. 

We are excited about this class and look forward to seeing you for some great sweat sessions with your friends at Fixed on Fitness!
